GUIDED TOUR SEASON: Family friendly guided tours occur on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month from June through September. The tours begin at 2 PM and last 75-90 minutes. You will tour the Curtin Mansion and the iron works complex. Learn about iron making in 19th Century Pennsylvania, the architecture of the mansion, Curtin family history, and life of the workers on this historic iron plantation from our knowledgeable volunteer guides -- who are often dressed in period attire. PRIVATE group tours are available for a small donation.
Check our Facebook page to verify which Sundays the mansion will be open for tours and when we will have special programming and events! Guided group tours can also be arranged at other times by contacting us well ahead of your planned visit. See our contact details on the Homepage. TOUR ON YOUR OWN ALL YEAR ROUND: If you want to explore the grounds on your own, pick up a self-guided tour brochure at the entrance any day of the year. Enjoy a picnic in the pavilion if you like. There are no fees for tour or use of the picnic facility, but donations are gratefully accepted since we are a 501c3 and managed by volunteers. Click the donate or join page to join the efforts, and/or become a member of the Roland Curtin Foundation. COVID-19 Health Protocols at PHMC sites |
